Items purchased from our Eureka Springs store or shipped within the state of Arkansas are subject to the applicable sales tax rate for your area. Sales tax is not added to shipments outside the state of Arkansas.

Terms and Conditions
Most items in our online store are specially made for you upon order. When placing a special order, please be aware that finishes and fabrics viewed on our web-site are intended to provide our customer with an approximation of how the product might appear in your home. Cottage Haven Interiors will be glad to provide actual fabric samples, and we will do our best to ensure that your order meets your expectations. Providing photos to us as an example of specific finish treatments may also be helpful. We encourage our customers to place custom orders directly with our design consultants rather than purchasing through our shopping cart.
Refunds and Cancellations
At Cottage Haven Interiors we hope you will never have a need to make a return, as we strive to ensure that everything we offer will meet or exceed your highest expectations. However, on those rare occasions where a return may be warranted, we will work closely with you to assure your satisfaction. For the ultimate in customer service and personalized attention, we recommend you call to place your order rather than purchasing through our shopping cart.
All custom orders are final once production commences, and as such no refunds, cancellations or returns will be accepted. This includes orders that are manufactured per your request at the time your order is placed. Custom orders include any Bella Notte item, slipcovered or upholstered furniture items built to your specification, any furniture item painted or finished to your specification, lamps, and chandeliers or medallions assembled or painted to your specification.
All sale items are considered "final" and are not refundable.
Except on custom orders or as previously noted, select merchandise may be returned to Cottage Haven Interiors within 10 days of your receipt. Items must be returned in their original condition with original packaging for a refund. Any items that have been soiled, damaged or used will not be accepted for a return. A 25% restocking fee will be added to any non-defective item returned for refund. Refunds are issued in the original form of payment and actual purchase price, less shipping & handling, re-stocking fees, and return shipping charges. Shipping charges will apply to all non-defective items returned. The actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount for any item shipped for "free", or on any item where Cottage Haven Interiors has paid a portion of the shipping cost. Shipping cost is never refundable. Please contact us to arrange all returns. Items returned to Cottage Haven Interiors without prior arrangement will not be accepted, and no refund will be issued. For items accepted for return, Cottage Haven Interiors will provide instructions and information, so please contact us for assistance. With the exception of defective items, the customer is responsible for any cost incurred to return the item to us.
Cancellations: Once your order has been placed with Cottage Haven Interiors, we make every effort to promptly put your order into production with the manufacturer. Cancellation on an order will not be accepted once the order is put into production.
Many of our items ship free of charge within the continental US. Shipping rates posted on our web-site are for standard, ground or ground freight and do not include expedited or "white glove" service, unless noted otherwise. Please note that some locations may incur a surcharge if remote or difficult to access.
The shipping cost for most of our one-of-a-kind or vintage furniture items is quoted upon your request to your destination and is typically shipped using our "white glove" service. Cottage Haven Interiors always strives to minimize the cost of shipping for our customers. Where possible, we make every attempt to pass along any savings. Our business practice is to ship the item(s) to you at the lowest possible cost. In most cases, Cottage Haven Interiors either ships the item for free or shares the actual cost of shipping with our customer.
Furniture or other merchandise you purchase that exceeds the weight and/or size limits of UPS or Federal Express will ship by freight. Freight companies typically provide curb-side service only and will not assist you in placing the item(s) in your home or disposing of the crating material. You should be prepared to move your item(s) inside your home, unpack the item(s), and discard the crating material. In most cases, there is no one to assist the driver with your delivery.
A freight company may deliver your item(s) using a local delivery truck or an interstate truck, depending upon your location. If your location cannot accommodate a large interstate truck, you should select premium delivery. Please note that rescheduling a freight delivery may result in the item returning to the point of origination. Most items offered within our online store with "free shipping" are sent by freight, unless otherwise noted. You may choose to upgrade the shipping method to white glove service in most cases for $150.00.
White glove service is offered on most furniture items for an up-charge of $150.00. This amount may vary based on weight and distance. We highly recommend this service to our customers. Note that some remote or difficult to access locations may exceed $150.00. In these situations, Cottage Haven Interiors will provide an estimate of additional charges before the item is shipped. With our White Glove service, items are delivered to your location much like a typical moving company, where the crew will place the item(s) in your home and remove all packaging material.
Estimated Shipping Timeframe: Most of our furniture and bedding items are made for our customers upon purchase. These items may require up to 10-12 weeks to produce and make ready for shipping. Cottage Haven Interiors will make every attempt to ensure that your orders are produced as quickly as possible. Reproduction furniture, lighting items, and Quick Ship items are shipped within 1-2 weeks when in stock. Out of stock reproduction items may require up to 12 weeks while these items are being manufactured and stock replenished. The Estimated Shipping Timeframe is noted for each product on our web-site.
Freight Ship Time: Once an item is ready to be shipped, the actual time for delivery will depend on your location and distance from the origin, typically our manufacturer. Note that most of our products are made in either California or North Carolina. The Freight Ship Time posted on our web-site for each product reflects the typical timeframe for delivery. However, if your destination is rural or located where deliveries are not routinely scheduled, additional time will be experienced. In some cases, delivery time may be expedited by upgrading the delivery type from freight to white-glove.
Damages: If you ever receive an item damaged, please contact us immediately on 888.281.5287. Items shipped via UPS or USPS are insured by Cottage Haven Interiors and a replacement item will be sent as soon as possible. Please inspect each item carefully before you sign any delivery receipt. Do not sign the bill of laden until you have inspected all items. If an item is damaged, you should refuse delivery. Cottage Haven Interiors will not be responsible for any damages discovered "after" the freight company has left your premises and/or the bill-of-laden has been signed without noting shipping damage.
To assist with your fabric selections, you may receive, on loan, fabric swatches from Cottage Haven Interiors. Please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and provide your name, the fabric samples you wish to receive, your mailing address and telephone number. We will contact you by phone to confirm your request, and at that time you will be required to provide your credit card number, expiration date, and security code which will be held on file. Fabric swatches are typically loaned out for a period of 14 days. To extend the loan period, simply make this request to us via email, and you will not be charged for swatches returned within the newly agreed upon loan period. Customers who purchase a furniture item requiring either slip-covering or upholstering, and/or purchase fabric yardage, will be credited for any loaned samples that have not been returned. If no purchase is made, fabric samples not returned within the specified loan period will be billed at a rate of $5.00 per sample to the credit card you have provided.
